Christmas 2022 advent calendar, day 23

every year starting with November 30, I am creating a line up of wines that I take out of my wine fridge in order to try until Christmas and New Years' Eve; I am trying to taste a variety of wines but focus on quality and wines that have received good reviews; so this is wine no23 of my personal Christmas advent calendar for 2022.

Producer: Weingut Knipser

The wine is solid; on the nose, it's deep and complex with aromas of red and black cherries, strawberry, gunpowder tea, wet forest trees, smoke and a touch of wood spices; vibrant acidity, medium body and medium alcohol level, well integrated oak and a fresh finish with medium aftertaste.
